Writing Topics

I am open to write about anything just not anything that has to do with history. They only reason why i do not like writing essays about anything in history is because i feel like i am writing the same thing over and over again and it gets pretty boring. I like the whole fact of think about what i am going to write about and just typing away whatever comes to mind. Not writing facts and things that are already writen down.

Vote?

Sorry but I did not vote. I really do not care about all that stuff. The world is already messed up, just by replacing people now and then to do try to keep everything in order doesnt mean they will be able to fix everything. To me, it's not like voting will make everything all better. Who ever wins might mess up in the the long run anyways because of the fact that we are all human.

Websites

Some websites are reliable and some aren’t, to me almost every website is a mix of both. You can’t really believe everything that is posted up on every website without looking through a couple of other ones. That is why I like Google. With Google you can type in one thing and they give you many different website about that one little search. I lately have been using Google to define words for me, I just type in for example, define misunderstood and right then and there about 1,540,000 results come up in less than 1 second. Of course that’s a lot of websites to go through but by the first two or three you see you already have gotten your answer to your question and have made sure that it was the right answer. Im not saying all websites always have something wrong on them but what I am saying that it is always good to look at others also just in case.

My Writing

I believe my writing isn't really bad at allI find it pretty catchy. I just really have to work on making things less confusing and remember to always give details and also to look over my work more then once because I do make little mistakes like text talk.

Midterm.

Midterms’ are near and it feels like they came so fast. I believe I'm ready for them. I’m not overwhelmed at all about it two of my class' because I get almost everything that has been thought. English is the only class that I am going to be studying for non-stop! The stuff isn't hard; it's just that I can't seem to remember important parts and pieces of all the grammar stuff. But I am and have been on top of my work. I have not handed in one thing late to any of my class' so that means I should be doing well at the moment. I’m fine at the moment but when the next two weeks come up my schedule is going to be school, work and straight to the books!

My Virtual Life

  I used to spend a lot of time on the computer over the summer and in high school. But is was never for anything important. Before college I never really used the computer for school work. I was always on my-space, face-book, you-tube, editing pictures, and all those online games. I use to be on the computer for hours to the point that my parents had to limit my time on the computer to no more then an hour a day. High school teachers
barely gave us homework that is online or needed to be typed and if it needed to be typed they usually let us do it in class. So that was why I had always spend so much time online doing unimportant things

     I still spend a lot of time on the computer. But lately I've been spending way to much time on it. It's not bad that I have been because what I mostly do on the computer is  my homework and also look around on blackboard to see if any of my teachers have posted anything on there for me to do and also check my e-mail. Lately my sister's laptop has been my life. That's were everything that I have written is stored in. Once she moves by the end of this month, I'm going to have to move all my flies to a flash drive and get my own laptop, which is what I'm saving for at the moment. Face-book and all that fun stuff I use to be on isn't really important to me any more. My virtual life isn't as fun as it used to be any more because after I'm finish with all the homework I needed to do I become tired and just turn off the computer and go to bed or take a nap.

Do music Videos affect the way you feel about paerticular songs?

         I believe that music videos don’t really affect the way I feel about particular songs. To me, the music videos, in a way, help me understand more about the song. Each song has a story behind it and the video just helps you see the story behind that song more clearly or in the way the artiest would like you to see it. But there is always that one song that you believe you understand and then when you actually see the video, it’s completely different from what you believe the song really is about.

            I, myself have seen many of these crazy music videos. Like a couple of Lady Gaga’s videos don’t make any type of since to the songs she sings. Like the song “Alejandro”, what does that video have to do with the song? In the video she is dressed as a Nun with guys around her wearing some type of women, fancy, under wear. But hey that’s Lady Gaga for you. Another one of those videos that don’t really go with the song is Katy Perry’s “California girls”. This song I really do enjoy but what does the candy land game have to do with California girls? See in her video she is dressed in a candy dress and everything around her it made out of candy, just like in the game and Snoop Dog is the bad guy that trapped all of her other candy dressed friends in the game and she defeats him and his gang of gummy bears at the end with two bottles of whip cream the stick on her bra. Even though the video was funny and had nothing to do with song, the video didn’t not make me change the way I felt about the song one bit.

            Other than the videos that don’t go with a good song, there are the videos and the songs that go perfectly together. One of these songs is Eminem ft Rihanna “Love the Way You Lie”. I love this song! And the video goes perfectly with what there singing. See Rihanna and Eminem haven’t really been in good relationships. Rihanna has been beaten up by her past boyfriend Chris Brown and Eminem just never got a long with the women that had his child because of all the lies. Both are perfect to sing this song because even threw all the lies and hurt, they stuck threw the relationship they had with the person they were with but found a way out. This song, to me, show’s why they never really left and that was because they loved the person. But in this video there’s a couple that always fought and hurt each other but always made up at the end of the day. That’s why if you hear this song and see the video you would understand the story behind this song.

            Even if the music video was good, bad or pointless, to me it really doesn’t matter, I am still going to like the song no matter what. But if the song is bad but the video is good then that’s a different story.
